Australia Day 2025 Nominees

This Australia Day Eve, we are recognising 71 amazing people nominated for our region-wide awards.

The 2025 Isaac Region Australia Day Awards and Citizenship Ceremony will be held in the hometown of last year’s Citizen of the Year winner, Amanda Raymond – Moranbah. Our nominees exemplify kindness, hard work, and a strong sense of community spirit.

While we can only select five winners, every single nominee is a hero in their own way.

You’ve helped us shine a light on the wonderful people who make Isaac such a great place to live. This Australia Day, as we celebrate our winners, let’s also take a moment to thank all the nominees for inspiring us with their big hearts and generosity.

While we’ve scaled back the official ceremonies, 15 events will still take place at our pools and local clubs, thanks to an Australia Day sponsorship pool of up to $12,000 for local groups to host hometown events.
