NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE 2025 AUSTRALIA DAY AWARDS

They say a change is as good as a holiday, and we’ve made some changes this Australia Day.

Nominating a community champion has got a whole lot easier.

With fewer categories, simplified nominations mean less hassle, and your nomination will stand out across the Isaac region.

We are one Isaac, one people, and we’re celebrating with one ceremony. 

We’re offering complimentary transport for all those wishing to attend the regional award ceremony.

2025 Regional Awards

Citizen of the Year - Aged 26 years or over as of 26 January 2025. Recognises outstanding members of the community for their personal endeavours, achievements, and community input.

Young Citizen of the Year - Aged 16-25 years or over as of 26 January 2025. Recognises young citizens for their personal endeavours, achievements, and community input.

Community Event of the Year - Awarded to the person or group who organised the best community event of the year. This event made a big positive impact on the Isaac region’s community.

Corporate Community Contribution of the Year - Honours large companies and small to medium businesses in the Isaac region for significant events or initiatives that better our communities.

2025 Local Awards

Community Champion Award - Given to individuals or groups in each community who show true passion and selflessness by making significant efforts to improve their community. This can be in areas like arts, culture, or sports.
