Formal, business, or smart casual attire is welcomed at the ceremonies. Conferees are welcome to wear traditional, national, or cultural dress.

What do I bring?

A form of photographic identification is required for each person aged 16 and over, which will allow facial comparison between the person and their identification. A driver licence, passport or other official document with a photograph is acceptable. If a conferee cannot produce any form of photographic identification, at least three documents bearing their name and/or current address, for example, bank statements, credit cards or bills, are required. Identity documents should be current and original documents (not photographs or photocopies).

I am taking Pledge 1, does Isaac Regional Council supply holy books and/or scriptures?

There are a limited number of Bibles available to use therefore we encouraged conferees to bring their own holy books and/or scriptures.

If I attend a ceremony by myself, can someone take a photo of me so I can send it to my family?

A professional photographer will be taking photographs during the ceremony and after the ceremony. These photographs will be posted on Isaac Regional Councils social media platforms and higher resolution versions available on request, free of charge after the ceremony. Please email oceo@isaac.qld.gov.au to request your photographs.

Will there be catering at the ceremony?

Depending on the time of day the ceremony is held, attendees will be provided with either morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, or dinner. Tea, coffee, and other non-alcoholic beverages. The catering will be provided once the ceremony has concluded.
