Lotus Creek Wind Farm

Lotus Creek Wind Farm is a proposed renewable energy project in Central Queensland, 20km west of the town of St Lawrence, in Central Queensland, north of Rockhampton. The project will consist of up to 55 wind turbines, each with a maximum blade tip height of 230 metres and a combined maximum capacity of around 341 MW. Koinmerburra Aboriginal Corporation

Koinmerburra Country in Central Queensland is the traditional lands of the Koinjmal Peoples. Koinmerburra Aboriginal Corporation is collaborating with Ecosure, Firesticks Alliance and Kuril and Currawong to restore the significant wetlands at St Lawrence. The Healing Mixed Water on Koinmerburra Country Project is funded by the partnership between the Australian Government’s Reef Trust and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation, with support from Isaac Regional Council and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services.
