With a flourishing veggie garden, a content baby, and finally some time on her hands, Michelle Camilleri found herself busy in the kitchen.
Known as One Hungry Mumma, Michelle created her first sauce, the spicy charred capsicum sauce, and found herself standing at her first market, wondering how it all happened.
Fast forward seven years, and the business has grown from that humble sauce to a wide range of products including sauces, relishes, mustards, chutneys, and spice and herb rubs.
There’s also an exciting new addition to the business in Finch Hatton, in the Mackay Isaac region.
“Our family home has always been a special place for us to connect with friends, both new and old,” Michelle said.
“So, it was a natural progression for us to expand our business to include catering, small group dining, cooking classes, and other delicious events.”
Michelle is a regular at the St Lawrence Wetlands Weekend, and she is passionate about fresh, home-style cooking with a unique mumma twist, utilising the freshest local ingredients.
