The Sanctuary Art Installation

The Sanctuary is a community-inspired art installation celebrating the distinctive birdlife and ecosystem of the St Lawrence Wetlands.  

Set to be a highlight of the 2025 St Lawrence Wetlands Weekend, this project will transform the sports and recreational grounds into an immersive exhibition of sculpted birdlife, highlighting the beauty of our local environment.  

It will also foster collaboration between skilled local artists, the community, and visitors in creating this peaceful display.  

By using recycled materials for the sculptures, the project reflects the festival’s commitment to sustainability and its connection to the natural world.
