About the Position:

An exciting opportunity exists for a fixed term full time Information Management Officer in our Corporate, Governance and Financial Services Directorate. Reporting to the Information Management Coordinator, this position is responsible for maintaining the efficient records management process and compliance across Isaac Regional Council.

The Information Management Officer will proficiently support the Records Team in processing inward correspondence, the registering and distribution of documents and the maintenance of the electronic records management system, whilst ensuring data accuracy. This position will also assist with the delivery of training for the internal data management systems to internal staff, and the processing of incoming and outgoing mail.

For this position we offer:

  • Location Negotiable: Isaac Region
  • Fixed term through to: Friday 26 September 2025
  • Nominally 36.25 hours per week
  • Hourly rate: $38.47 - $42.23
  • 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
  • Up to 14% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
  • RDO’s in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement

About You:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Information Management Officer who possesses:

  • Tertiary qualifications in administration or a related field and/or previous experience in a similar position;
  • High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
  • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel is essential.
