An exciting full-time opportunity is available for a Community Hubs Area Leader based in Moranbah. The Community Hubs Area Leader will oversee Frontline Service Officers, ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer and library services both within Isaac Regional Council and to the public, in line with Customer Service Standards.
In collaboration with the Coordinator of Community Hubs, the Area Leader will provide continuous mentorship, customised training programs, and developmental support to enhance the skills and capabilities of Frontline Service Officers. By promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth, the Area Leader will help build a cohesive and high-performing team.
This role requires regular travel within the designated cluster area and to other Isaac Region communities, which may occasionally include overnight stays in fatigue accommodation.
For this position we offer:
- Base Salary $86,736.17 - $93,628.40 per annum (Stream A, Level 4 - 5)
- Based in Moranbah
- Permanent, Full Time Position
- Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight
- RDO (Rostered Days Off) in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- Up to 14% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement

About You:
We are seeking an enthusiastic person who possesses:
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of high-level face-to-face, telephone, and online customer service and/or library services.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- High level experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- High level experience and knowledge of organisational, customer service, and library enterprise management systems.
- Experience in working in a multi-faceted and dynamic customer focused workplace.
