Departmental Administration Officer - Engaged Communities

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Departmental Administration Officer to join our Engaged Communities Department based in Moranbah. This role is pivotal in providing high-level administrative, project management, and business support to the Manager Engaged Communities and the department as a whole. You will play a crucial role in driving accountability, community capacity building, and service excellence.

For this position we offer:

  • Base Salary $86,736.17 - $93,628.40 per annum (Stream A, Level 4 - 5)
  • Full time (72.5 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday)
  • Permanent Position
  • Location – Moranbah
  • 5 Weeks annual leave Plus 17.5% loading
  • Up to 14% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement

About You:
We are seeking an enthusiastic person who possesses:

  1. Demonstrated experience in the provision of high level administrative, process, project and governance support;
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of administrative processes (Microsoft applications), including letter preparation, preparation of documents, meeting minutes, compiling memos, email management, photocopying, general financial processes and spread sheeting.
  3. Demonstrate core values at all times and a high level of integrity and ethics;
  4. Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills;
  5. High level administrative, process, project and governance knowledge
  6. Ability to multi-task and meet competing deadlines;
  7. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
  8. Demonstrated ability to problem solve and develop processes and procedures that support business improvement.
