Labourers - RMPC

An exciting opportunity exists for a fixed term full time RMPC Labourer in our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate based in either Moranbah, Clermont, Nebo or Dysart. Reporting to the Overseer Road Network, this position is responsible for travelling the Isaac Regional Council road network and carrying out general maintenance for Council’s community rest areas including cleaning, minor maintenance, mowing, whipper snipping, blowing, spraying, and graffiti removal.

For this position we offer:

  • Base salary between $62,559.61 - $63,707.94 per annum (Stream B, Level 2 – 3) + allowances
  • Working Hours:
    o Week 1 – Monday to Thursday (6:00am – 3:30pm)
    • o Week 2 – Tuesday to Friday (6:00am – 3:30pm)
  • Fixed Term Contract – Ceasing Tuesday 30 June 2026
  • 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
  • Up to 13.5% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
  • RDO’s in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement

About You:
We are seeking an enthusiastic person who possesses:

  1. Relevant certification or willingness to obtain for the operation of plant and equipment, horticulture and poison operations;
  2. Minimum twelve (12) months’ experience is essential.
  3. Knowledge and experience in basic mechanics, general maintenance and gardening is required.
