An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Water Truck Operator to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in Nebo. Reporting to the Team Leader – Infrastructure, the Water Truck Operator position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of vehicles, plant and equipment for the Infrastructure department across Isaac Regional. This position will see you safely operating water trucks to haul loads of water from various construction water source points to the relevant project sites as directed by the Team Leader – Infrastructure.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in a similar position
- Knowledge and experience in basic mechanics and general maintenance
- The ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
- Construction Induction Blue/White Card
- A ‘HC’ Class Open Australian Drivers Licence
- Traffic Controller ticket (advantageous)
For this position we offer:
- Salary $66,300.67 per annum + allowances
- Nominally 76 hours per fortnight
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- Up to 14% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
- RDO’s in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
