Council wishes to advise Sunshine Park is now open to the public.

Isaac Regional Council advises residents that Sunshine Park, Moranbah is closed until further notice.

This closure is due to vandalism.

When facilities are damaged through vandalism, it creates unsafe environments for the community, costs Council time and money to fix and may result in that facility being closed or restricted for community members that are doing the right thing.

VANDALISM IS A CRIME

Vandalism is the act of damaging or defacing property without permission.

Council spends a lot of time and money fixing instances of vandalism across the region that could be better spent on improving our communities.

REPORT TO COUNCIL

Rapid reporting allows Council to quickly address any instances of vandalism and protect the community if the vandalism presents risks.

To report damage to public property, contact Council on 1300 ISAACS or use the Snap Send Solve app for a quicker response.

Call police on 000 in an emergency or for non-urgent reporting and enquiries call Policelink on 131 444.
