Change in operating hours, Historic Nebo Museum

Isaac Regional Council wishes to advise Nebo residents of a change to the Historic Nebo Museum’s operating hours.

Council has adjusted the operating hours of the Historic Nebo Museum to improve regional consistency with Clermont Museum.

This change allows the Frontline Service Officer to complete end-of-day closing activities during work hours.

Additionally, the museum will no longer be open 'by request' during the Frontline Service Officer's leave.

The Historic Nebo Museum will now operate on:

• Tuesdays
  9am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 3pm
  
• Wednesdays
  9am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 3pm
• Thursdays
  9am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 3pm

Council is actively working through a Collection Management Plan with guidance from Queensland Museum, and once key recommendations have been implemented, a review of the moratorium on donations will be conducted.

Council appreciates the public’s understanding and support to help preserves the Isaac region’s history more effectively.
