Commencement of the Isaac Region Planning Scheme version 1.1

Notice is given in accordance with the Planning Act 2016 that Isaac Regional Council on Tuesday, 28 May 2024 adopted Isaac Regional Planning Scheme 2021 version 1.1 inclusive of Administrative Amendment 1. The Isaac Regional Planning Scheme 2021, version 1.1 will take effect on and from Monday 1 July 2024.

The Isaac Region Planning Scheme 2021, version 1.1 applies to the entire Isaac Regional Council local government area. The overall purpose and general effect of Administrative Amendment 1 is to:

a.         correct spelling and drafting errors throughout the scheme;

b.         update version numbers and page numbers throughout the scheme;

c.         reflect the Planning (State Development Assessment Provisions) Amendment Regulation 2022 and the Planning (Secondary Dwellings) Amendment Regulation 2022;

d.         update map errors on the Coastal hazard overlay maps;

e.         update defined administrative terms on the Strategic Framework maps; and

f.          include a new schedule for designation of premises for development.

The Isaac Regional Planning Scheme 2021, version 1.1 can be viewed online (www.isaac.qld.gov.au) or is available for inspection and purchase at the Moranbah Customer Service Centre, Batchelor Parade, Moranbah.
