Installation of CCTV, Moranbah

Isaac Regional Council advises the Moranbah community of the installation of three closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras from Wednesday, 9 April 2025 at the following locations:

  • Town Square Amenities Block
  • Town Square Shopfront Playground
  • Town Square Playground
  • CWA Amenities Block on Parella Street

Council is committed to maintaining the safety and cleanliness of our community spaces. To address and mitigate the persistent issue of vandalism, surveillance cameras are being installed in these specific areas.

Council asks residents to abide by signage in place while works are being carried out.

VANDALISM IS A CRIME

Vandalism is the act of damaging or defacing property without permission. Council spends a lot of time and money fixing instances of vandalism across the region that could be better spent on improving our communities.

REPORT TO COUNCIL

Rapid reporting allows Council to quickly address any instances of vandalism and protect the community if the vandalism presents risks. To report damage to public property, contact Council on 1300 ISAACS.

Call police on 000 in an emergency or for non-urgent reporting and enquiries call Policelink on 131 444.
