Weather Permitting

This is in preparation for water notices to be issued for water usage during January 2024 to June 2024.  Water notices are scheduled to be sent to ratepayers in August 2024.

Ratepayers and tenants are to ensure that their water meters are clear from obstruction to allow access as per Council’s Water Meter Reading and Billing Policy, see water_meter_reading_and_billing_policy.pdf (isaac.qld.gov.au)

All meter-reading contractors will carry official Council identification. Authorisation to undertake the water meter reads is under Section 37 of the Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act 2008.

Council encourages the use of MiWater, a website where residents can sign up to receive water consumption information. Residents can set email and SMS alerts and be notified of water leaks and high consumption within days of occurrence, see https://www.isaac.qld.gov.au/Residents/Water-and-Wastewater/Save-Water-Access-MiWater for more details.
