Mackay Agricultural Show Day public holiday

Isaac Regional Council would like to advise communities of the following temporary closures and normal operating hours for the Mackay Agricultural Show Day public holiday for Carmila, Nebo and Glenden on Thursday, 20 June 2024.

COUNCIL OFFICES, ISAAC LIBRARIES AND FACILITIES

Council's offices, customer service counters, libraries, depots, recreation centre and halls at Carmila, Flaggy Rock, Nebo and Glenden will be closed on Thursday, 20 June 2024 and will re-open during normal business hours from Friday, 21 June 2024. Historic Nebo Museum will also be closed and re-open on Tuesday, 25 June 2024 and Carmila Library will re-open on Monday, 24 June 2024. All other towns in the Isaac region will operate as normal.

WASTE SERVICES

Kerbside waste and recycling collections will go ahead as normal on public holidays across the region.  Please ensure your bins are placed on the kerbside by 6am on collection day. Visit isaac.qld.gov.au/Kerbside-Collection for more information.

WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES

Waste management facilities at Nebo and Glenden are closed on the public holiday. For more information on facility operating hours visit isaac.qld.gov.au/Waste-Management-Facilities.
