Nightly closure, amenities blocks, Centenary Park and Lions Park , Dys

Isaac Regional Council values the safety and cleanliness of our community spaces. Due to recent incidents, we are implementing enhanced security measures for the amenities blocks at Centenary Park and Lions Park.

Effective immediately, the following changes will be in place:

The amenities blocks will be securely locked each night.

They will be reopened each morning.

VANDALISM IS A CRIME

Vandalism is the act of damaging or defacing property without permission.

Council spends a lot of time and money fixing instances of vandalism across the region that could be better spent on improving our communities.

REPORT TO COUNCIL

Rapid reporting allows Council to quickly address any instances of vandalism and protect the community if the vandalism presents risks.

To report damage to public property, contact Council on 1300 ISAACS.

Call police on 000 in an emergency or for non-urgent reporting and enquiries call Policelink on 131 444.
