Construction of the replacement of Phillips Creek Bridge on Saraji Road near Dysart will begin on Tuesday, 7 February 2025.

Isaac Regional Council’s contractor Davbridge Constructions are scheduled to mobilise to the site with construction works expected to progress through to December 2025, pending on weather conditions.

The existing 35m-long bridge will remain operational during the construction of the new 100m bridge which will feature a stronger structure with two 3.5m-wide lanes, two 1m-wide shoulders, improved approaches, and increased deck height.

The overall construction site is 1km-long.

Heavy vehicle drivers and motorists should be aware of temporary traffic controls in the area and to observe all signage and directions in place.

While every effort will be made to maintain two lanes of traffic past the work site, there may be occasions when stop and go traffic lights will be implemented to ensure the safety of construction workers and road users.

The Phillips Creek Bridge Replacement Project is proudly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments in partnership with Isaac Regional Council.

Council would like to thank the community for their patience and cooperation as this important infrastructure upgrade is delivered.
