Potential Cloudy Water, Middlemount

Isaac Regional Council advises residents of Middlemount of potential aerated water in the town drinking water network and may experience some Cloudy water. The air creates a cloudy appearance that will settle after leaving for a period of time. Water quality is unaffected and is safe for consumption.

It is expected to last up to 3 hours while the air disperses through the water network. If you experience discoloured water (not cloudy water), Council recommends flushing tap water for up to five minutes or until the water becomes clear. Council also recommends that any flushing of water, should be collected and used on your garden or lawn.

Middlemount residents who continue to experience discolouration in their water are urged to call 1300 ISAACS (1300 472 227) so our local teams can continue to diagnose any issues in the network.
