Temporary closure, Bernborough Park
Published on 18 November 2024
Isaac Regional Council wishes to advise residents and park visitors that the Bernborough Park will be temporarily closed for three days on:
Monday, 18 November to Wednesday, 20 November 2024
The three days will allow for cleaning and repair work of the playground, amenities and tables in the park affected by vandalism. Council will also use this temporary closure to conduct essential tree lopping in the area on Wednesday 20 November 2024.
Vandalism in Moranbah parks has been ongoing and is escalating. Each act of vandalism is diverting Council funds that could be used to enhance our communities and restricting use of our parks.
This is not just a minor inconvenience - it impacts everyone who values our public spaces. Council asks that anyone with information step forward to help combat this escalating issue. Continued silence only empowers the vandals.
To report information regarding damage to public property, contact Council on 1300 ISAACS.

The nearest public amenities are available at Sunshine Park on Nonette Street and Nolan Park on Clements Street.
