Temporary playgrounds and road closure, Town Square, Moranbah

Isaac Regional Council would like to advise Moranbah residents and businesses that Town Square Avenue and playgrounds will be temporarily closed on:

Friday, 10 November 2023
3pm to 11pm

The closure of Town Square Avenue will be in place from 3pm-11pm on Friday, 10 November for the Moranbah Miners’ Memorial Ceremony.

Areas of Town Square will also be closed to the public throughout the day to allow the preparation of the memorial for the evening’s observance. Pedestrians are asked to maintain their distance and abide by directional signage in place during the day.

Cars parked in Town Square Avenue at the time of the closure will still be able to exit like usual.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the community for its patience.
