UPDATE - Pavement renewal works, Peak Downs Mine Road

Isaac Regional Council advises that the scheduled pavement repair works on Peak Downs Mine Road have been affected by weather conditions and availability of bitumen sealing.

As a consequence, the road has deteriorated and is reduced to a single lane under traffic signal control. Delays are expected, so please plan your journey accordingly.

The contractor has mobilised additional crews and will address the defects immediately once weather permits.

Motorists are advised to maintain caution on the road during the works, drive to conditions and follow any directional signage in place at the site. Loose stones may be present during works, please drive with care.
