Update #2 Water Conservation Measures, Carmila

The leak within the local network has been isolated while Carmila residents are urged to continue to practice water conservation measures this afternoon and tonight.

A water tanker from is expected to arrive in the next few hours to replenish town water stocks at the Carmila Water Treatment Plant reservoir.

Critical repair work will continue and Council thanks the community for its patience and understanding while this issue is being rectified.

Council will provide a further update at 7pm, Wednesday, 3 January 2024.
