Update #3 Water Conservation Measures, Carmila
Published on 03 January 2024
Isaac Regional Council would like to thank Carmila residents for their help in minimising town water consumption following today’s detected leak in the local water network.
The reservoir that holds the town’s drinking water is now operating at normal levels after a tanker replenished water levels this afternoon.
Tight restrictions on water usage are no longer required however it remains important that residents and businesses continue their efforts to conserve water in line with Council’s general advice.
Visit https://www.isaac.qld.gov.au/Residents/Water-and-Wastewater/Water-Restrictions#section-2 for more information on how to save water and to keep up-to-date with water restrictions.
If you require further information please contact Council’s Customer Service Centre available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 1300 ISAACS (1300 472 227).
Council would also like to take this opportunity to thank the local water treatment plant operators and staff to remedy the issue and maintain Carmila’s water supply.
