Water supply interruption, Middlemount

Potable water availability is at a critical level due to a pump failure at the local water treatment plant.

Isaac Regional Council advises Middlemount residents and businesses to minimise water consumption until further notice due to a plant breakdown.

Residents may experience low pressure in their water supply while local Council staff are working to resolve the issue.

Council encourages residents to defer any non-essential use of water such as cleaning driveways, paved areas, topping up pools, watering plants and sprinklers.

Repair work is currently underway and water tankers are being used to supplement the water level. Council will provide a further update at 2pm today, 12 December 2023.
