Over the last decade, Isaac region coal mines produced 1.8 billion tonnes, contributing more than $270 billion to Australia’s GDP.

The top five countries buying Isaac coal are Japan, China, India, South Korea, and Singapore — a testament to our region’s global significance.

Alongside mining, we produce some of Australia’s finest beef, grains, sugar, and seafood, sustaining industries across the nation and beyond.

Isaac is also looking to the future, with 26 renewable energy projects already underway.

These are driving Australia’s transition to cleaner energy, demonstrating how our industries can adapt and innovate to meet emerging challenges.
