Theresa Creek Dam Recreation and Campground upgrades

Theresa Creek Dam, built in 1983, is one of the most idyllic camping spots in the Isaac region.
Clermont residents and visitors from surrounding communities have ambitious plans for Theresa Creek Dam, but we cannot achieve them on our own.
It is a key tourism asset in the Isaac region with little competition in surrounding areas. The dam and recreation grounds sit on 300 hectares of freehold land owned by Isaac Regional Council.
A commercial management agreement is in place with a third-party provider for the operation of the camping ground and kiosk.

It’s essential that royalties are reinvested into a community that backs regional Queensland.

Council is advocating for $12 million for recreation and campground upgrades.
