About the Role:

Supporting Workforce Transition: You'll play a critical role in assisting new employees integrate into the workforce and support their career development, positively impacting council employees' professional lives by ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
Foster Career Development: Working closely with the Senior People and Capability Business Partner – Learning and Development, you'll ensure the effective delivery of various programs such as apprenticeships, traineeships, graduate programs, and work experience placements.
Onboarding Initiatives: You'll implement and improve onboarding and induction processes, promote career opportunities within the council, and engage with various initiatives to ensure a smooth, inclusive, and connected onboarding experience for employees.
Administration: Keeping accurate and confidential records of employee training and development, provide administration assistance and write professional documents.
Positive Support: Providing support to employees, supervisors, and stakeholders to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved.

For this Position we offer:

Competitive Salary: Earn $86,736.17 per annum (Stream A, Level 4).
Permanent Full-Time Role: Secure a stable, long-term position with a nominal 72.5 hours per fortnight.

About You:
We are seeking an enthusiastic person who possesses:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in vocational education and training (VET) or human resources is highly valued.
  • Strong administrative skills, proficiency in Microsoft applications, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • The ability to foster positive culture, collaborate inclusively and accommodate different methods of learning and communication with an exceptional customer service commitment.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, business qualification or relevant experience in a similar field is highly regarded.
  • Current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Working with Children Card.
