An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Plant Operator to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in Clermont. Reporting to the Team Leader - Infrastructure this position provides assistance with coordination, integration and delivery of services and the construction, maintenance and operational delivery of vehicles, plant and equipment across Isaac Regional Council.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 12 months experience in similar role
- Knowledge and experience in basic mechanics and general maintenance
- Plant tickets relevant to the job i.e. loader, roller, excavator (other plant tickets are desirable)
- HC licence and grader ticket highly desirable
- Ability and willingness to undertake labouring duties when required
- ‘C’ Class driver’s licence (or higher is desirable)
- Construction White card
BENEFITS
- Salary $64,911.03 - $68,652.08 per annum
- Nominally 38 hours per week (3 x 10-hour days and 1 x 8-hour day, Monday - Thursday)
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
