An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent, full time Mobile Mechanical Fitter to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in the Isaac Region. Reporting to the Team Leader this position is responsible for maintenance/servicing of vehicles, plant and equipment region-wide for Isaac Regional Council (IRC) Workshops.
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- Trade qualification in mechanical engineering Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
- Experience in light/heavy vehicle mobile plant diagnostics and repair, transport as well as heavy plant and equipment.
- A 'C Class’ driver’s licence.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment.
- The ability to work safely and autonomously in a multi-disciplinary team.
