Arts and Cultural Action Plan

Isaac Regional Council’s Arts and Cultural Policy defines Council’s commitment to arts and cultural development in the Isaac region and informs Council in setting arts and cultural priorities for programs, facilities and activities in the region.

Isaac’s Arts and Cultural Action Plan 2018-2022 details how the Arts and Cultural Policy will be implemented.

Public Art

Public art is a growing medium of expressing the uniqueness and individuality of a community while building community cultural capacity and actively supporting cultural enterprise. Public art can be permanent, temporary or ephemeral and can be represented in a range of artforms (e.g. sculpture, installation, projection, performance).

Council can accept applications for public art requests within the Isaac region. Read the below documents for more information.

Isaac Arts and Cultural Advisory Committee (IACAC)

The Isaac Arts and Cultural Advisory Committee will assist Council with the implementation of these policies, plans and strategies by providing specialist knowledge, a community interface and advocacy.    The Term of Reference describes the purpose and composition of the committee.  It provides scope and framework for the committee’s operation and details the roles and responsibilities of its members.
